1. Services Provided
Edu Leadership Dynamics provides executive coaching, leadership development, workshops, and consulting services to high school students, parents, educators, and educational institutions. Our services are designed to support personal growth, leadership skills, and academic transitions.
2. Nature of Coaching Relationship
Professional Coaching: Our services constitute professional coaching, not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment. Coaching focuses on goal-setting, strategy development, and personal growth.
Client Responsibility: You are responsible for your own decisions and actions. Coaching does not guarantee specific outcomes, and results depend on your commitment and effort.
Not a Substitute: Our services are not a substitute for professional mental health care, legal advice, financial planning, or medical treatment. We may recommend you seek appropriate professional help when needed.
3. Client Eligibility and Consent
Minors: Services for clients under 18 require parental or guardian consent. Parents/guardians must complete and sign all required consent forms before services begin.
Voluntary Participation: Coaching works best when participation is voluntary. We encourage all clients to engage willingly in the coaching process.
4. Fees and Payment
Payment Terms: Fees are due as specified in your coaching agreement or invoice. We accept payment via [specify payment methods].
Packages and Programs: Package fees are due upon registration unless alternative arrangements are made in writing.
Late Payment: Unpaid invoices may result in suspension of services. A late fee of [specify amount or percentage] may be applied to overdue accounts.
Refund Policy:
Cancellations made more than 14 days before a program start date are eligible for a full refund minus a [specify amount/percentage] administrative fee
Cancellations made 7-14 days before start date receive a 50% refund
Cancellations made less than 7 days before start date are non-refundable
Individual session packages are non-refundable once services have commenced
5. Scheduling and Cancellations
Scheduling: Sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement. We will confirm all appointments via email.
Cancellation Policy:
Clients must provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a session
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full session fee
Emergency situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis
No-shows without notice will be charged the full session fee
Coach Cancellations: If we need to cancel or reschedule, we will provide as much notice as possible and work with you to find an alternative time.
6. Confidentiality and Privacy
All coaching conversations and client information are confidential, as outlined in our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy for complete details on how we protect your information.
7. Code of Conduct
Mutual Respect: We maintain a professional, respectful environment. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of services without refund.
Communication: We communicate primarily via email, phone, and video conferencing platforms. You are responsible for providing accurate contact information.
8. Intellectual Property
Materials: All coaching materials, worksheets, assessments, and content provided by Edu Leadership Dynamics are our intellectual property and for your personal use only.
Prohibited Uses: You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or sell our materials without written permission.
Client Work: Any materials you create during coaching sessions remain your property.
9. Limitation of Liability
Professional Standards: While we maintain high professional standards and adhere to ICF ethical guidelines, we cannot guarantee specific results from coaching services.
No Liability: Edu Leadership Dynamics, its owner, and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services or website.
Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid for services in the six months preceding the claim.
10. Termination of Services
By Client: You may terminate coaching services at any time with written notice. Fees for completed sessions and non-refundable packages remain due.
By Coach: We reserve the right to terminate the coaching relationship if:
Payment obligations are not met
The client-coach relationship is no longer productive
Behavior violates our code of conduct
Services needed exceed our scope of practice
Referrals: If we terminate services or determine your needs exceed our expertise, we will provide appropriate referrals when possible.
11. Website Use
Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that website content is error-free or current.
Links: Our website may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
Prohibited Activities: You may not use our website for unlawful purposes, to transmit harmful code, or to interfere with its operation.
12. Testimonials and Feedback
We may request permission to use anonymized testimonials or feedback. You may decline without affecting services. Any use of testimonials will respect client confidentiality and require explicit written consent.
13. Dispute Resolution
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada.
Resolution Process: In the event of a dispute, we encourage direct communication to resolve issues. If necessary, we agree to participate in mediation before pursuing legal action.
Jurisdiction: Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
